Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Sellerverse ("we") collects when you use the Sellerverse website and platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Sellerverse is a product of Leverify, operated by Sellerverse (sellerverse.ai). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the platform:
- Account details: name, work email and company name. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk. We never store your password ourselves.
- Team users: names, emails and roles of people you invite to your workspace.
- Amazon data: when you connect a seller account, we access data through the Amazon Selling Partner API, such as orders, inventory, listings, shipments and fees. We only request the permissions the features need.
- Business data you add: suppliers, purchase orders, tasks, files and notes.
- Billing details: handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Operational logs: requests to our servers (address, status, timing) are logged for security, debugging and abuse detection. Passwords, tokens and keys are removed before storage.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and session identifiers, collected automatically to secure the platform and diagnose errors.
- Messages: what you send to support and to Seller Navigator, our AI assistant.
How we use your data
- To provide and run the platform and the features you use.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To bill you and manage your subscription.
- To send service emails, such as account confirmation, password resets, security alerts and billing notices.
- To send product updates, only where you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve Sellerverse using aggregated usage data that does not identify you.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for third-party advertising. We do not use your Amazon or business data to train AI models, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal basis
Where the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (running your account and workspace); our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in keeping the service secure, reliable and improving; your consent, for marketing emails; and legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.
Seller Navigator (AI assistant)
Seller Navigator answers questions about your workspace data. Answers can be wrong, so check important figures before acting on them.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the UK or the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Account and business data: kept while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer, for example invoices and financial records.
- Operational logs: kept for 12 months, then deleted.
- Amazon data: disconnecting a seller account stops new data being collected.
Security
All data is sent over HTTPS and encrypted at rest. Access to databases is limited to authenticated internal services and team members who need it, and access is logged. We review security regularly and fix vulnerabilities promptly. No system is completely secure, so use a strong, unique password and two-factor sign-in where available. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you have the right to:
- Access: get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Restriction: ask us to limit processing in some cases.
Email contact@sellerverse.ai to make a request. We reply within 24 hours. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Children
Sellerverse is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform changes. For important changes, we will email account owners and update the date at the top. If you keep using Sellerverse after that, the updated policy applies.
